Linux: Completely exit desura Thread

I have installed the Desura linux client.

Is there a clean way to close Desura (ie, terminate all Desura processes) or do I have to manually kill the tasks?
Neither exit nor logout achieve this, for me and I don't see any other possibilities.

Right click on the tray icon. If you close the normal window it stays down there like any other persistent app. Just close it from the tray icon.

Apologies, the right-click exit button just wasn't working for some reason, even after force-killing and restarting.
Yet after a full system reboot it closes properly.
Probably a notification panel issue.
