Can this stop now? Can we just have the Linux category do the same for Linux as Mac and Windows does and stop the silly seperation of 32bit and 64bit games? Mine auto turns to 64bit and I keep missing out on games. It's not a good feature. The game pages already show 32bit and 64bit icons so why stop 64bit users even seeing 32bit games in the games list? Considering Linux 64bit can play 32bit games it's not a case of them not working? What was the reason behind this decision? If it wasn't for Hamish pointing out Livalink on my website in an article I wouldn't have purchased it or even knew it existed as it didn't show on the website because of this issue. Little issues like this can = lost revenue for you DesuraNET you should make it a priority to fix oddities like this. Edited by: liamdawe |

I totally agree that they should be merged; however, mine defaults to "Linux" rather than "Linux64" because I set it here: Desura.com -- don't know if you are aware of that or not. |

I found that out thanks to my post on my website www.gamingonlinux.com where I've highlighted this issue as well. The only way to get to that page seems to be to click the link after you select a platform first that pops up in the notification bubble. They need to just get rid of the separation altogether. |

To further this Scott read this from a developer who highlights it as well: Reddit.com It will = lost sales since people didn't even know you could change it. I bring it up because I don't want Desura to go downhill, it's a major issue, all you need to do is bring 32/64bit Linux under one banner at all times - Linux. Edited by: liamdawe |

They are still Linux games which is my point though, never filter them out. You have the platform icons to show what "bit" they support on every games page anyway for Linux. If you want to be double sure users know that add a proper system requirements section. Edited by: liamdawe |

sure, thinking of a solution now but it is very complex behind the scenes how this is setup There should no longer be any separation. Desura filters only by the Linux platform while still allowing you to install a 64bit version of the game if available. Let me know if you experience any bugs |
