WinterLeaf Entertainment (WLE) is recruiting for two positions. A Props Modeller and a Level Designer for our studio.

Props Modeller. We require a competent 3d Modeler to join our team to work exclusively on props for our game environment. You will be responsible for preparing the models and texture work working alongside our Architectural modellers and texture artists. You will have a programme of models to prepare but are encouraged to be creative and add to the last as you feel appropriate.

Level Designer. You will be responsible for working in our engine and placement of items and creating the game environment. We are about to release our own WLE Omni 3D engine. Experience in working with other engines is useful but not critical. You will also have the ability to influence the development of Omni in its usability and interface.

About WLE

The studio is an indie studio comprising of about 30 people all professional in what they do but working with wle to combine to create a strong indie team. We have been together for over 3 years and are growing. We also have interns from Full sail University working in our team.

We are producing a RPG fantasy style game and have much developed already. We are in the process now of creating a demo fir release in 2014 and are looking for committed people to join us on the journey.

As an indie studio we are completely self funded at the moment and are not able to offer payment as everyone works on this basis at wle. We can however offer a financial return through our online store where our team sell models and work created for the game to gain income.

We are looking for dedicated people who are keen to participate in this project to the full. If you require further information on wle or our game please see the links below including recent artwork.

It seems like you are a company, but this isn't a payed position? I checked your website and am no smarter than before ;)

Images look interesting, despite being a bit low res. Don't you have more content though? From what I've read this has been a team working together for 3 years. Probably not on this engine/project?! Maybe you can elaborate a bit where this MMOG is going. Torque engine can look better, I've seen a driving scene on an island that looked really good about a year ago.

Whats happening to the stone floor on the middle image? In the left corner it looks like it is displaced or projected on top of each other. Is that an error or is the material using some bump offset/parallax to achieve more depth?

Anyway, good luck with finding help, here!

He mentions that this isnt a paid position, because it is an indie studio and completely self funded :)
