Hi guys,

We've put some of our previous titles on IndieDB, but we're looking to take a different more inclusive approach with our next title, KILLSTORM. We're launching on Kickstarter at the end of this week, and we'd love some feedback on the campaign before it goes to the general public.

KILLSTORM is our love-letter to the classic action games of the 16-bit era. The game
is an intense action game for PC/Mac and touch screen devices with rich 3D environments that puts you in the pilot seat of a lethally-armed, highly agile attack helicopter.

Here's a preview link to our campaign: Kck.st (This is just a preview page until the campaign launches

Let us know what you think of the game, the Kickstarter page and the demo.

Here's some feedback: ALWAYS put a picture for the game when you present it. It's so much more interesting.

Secondly, I really like you taking on a love letter for those good ol' action games, reminds me a lot about SWIV 3D( Youtube.com ), a game I played a lot as a kid, I think these kind of games might fit good for a pad.

Lastly, I think this is a matter of taste but I prefer vidoes FIRST showing me what the game is about and then explain it (controls et cetera) and I'd like to think that more action in start and less words will catch the viewer and once you have the attention you can start going in depth.

Best of luck! :)

Just the other day I was trying to remember the name of SWIV when talking to a friend, so thank you for allowing me to tie up an hour internet search which ended up with me tearing my hair out after not finding it.
KILLSTORM was inspired by a love affair I had with the Desert Strike series of games, never played SWIV 3D but have put down many hours on the original SWIV scroller for the Amiga. Watching the youtube video brought back some great memories. Maybe one of my stretch goals should be to recreate a level based on that classic as well!
Completely agree about the video. We tried to stick to a Kickstarter-style video for this which all seem to be a lot of talking about a project. Hopefully it will work.
Thank you so much for your comments and also for helping me win a conversation from last week. We're really excited to launch this & hope it brings back some great memories for people!

Hey you guys seem like you're pretty far along in terms of preparation for your campaign already, but if you're interested, this guy does runs kickstarter campaigns and seems to do them successfully.

His name is Michael Cox

Thanks for the information, and we'll keep it in mind for any future campaigns, but I agree that we're a bit too far along in the process now. We were just talking about how that would make a great business model with so many Kickstarter & Inidiegogo campaigns.
