Installing a Jedi Academy mod Thread

I Need help with putting a mod on.in star wars jedi academy.what do i do now i have it downloaded?

instal it if its an .exe to the star wars folder

how???im new with these damn things.my first mod

double click it and it will most likly say where to install it.

it doesnt do anything when i click on it

hmm, at end of it does it say .exe or is it .rar or a folder?

i dont know but it say that extract the pk3 file from the zip inot your Gamedata/base folder. but i cant or i did it wont let me

nah nothing.i did extract file but i didnt know were to put them

oh mabey it came with a text file that will say how to install or go to the website you got it from and see if you find it there.

ok its the mod for darth maul.now that u have it extracted it asks for a password????wtf

Yeah alot do have passwords on it , look around the site where you got it it will probibly be there some where.

wow. few tips:

- dont capitalize every letter on a thread's title

- read the READ ME file that comes with any mod. it might just have improtant info

- try reading the faq on the site you got it from

ok when i go to do the mod after ive put the files on the data folder it comes up as a file waiting to be writtin to cd?i cant figure how to work it and ive gone to the site

Again, I ask, where did you install the Jedi Academy game. What folder? And don't say on the computer, or I'm going to stop helping you.

if default most likely C:\Program Files\StarWarsJediAcademy

@Sith, if your Jedi Academy game was installed to the default folder, then you need to unpack the mod there. That would be C:\Program Files\StarWarsJediAcademy . Now how hard was that?

i think someones sig dimentions are too large
