You could keep it straightforward and simply call the game "Hunted" So, you described a bit of the gameplay - which sounds intriguing. Now, if you can hook it with a good story. What about the idea that you are a young tribesman going through your rites of passage where you must survive on your own. Unique enough idea for a game, yet the concept is familiar enough to people that they will be interested. So in the case of the young tribesman story, you could also call it "Rites of Passage". I know a freeware game called Stranded 2 that's just up your alley. Its a 3D survival game where you are stranded (Duh!) on an Island and have to learn to live in the wild. You have to learn how to get food and water plus it has item crafting and a 3D island editor and script engine. The only downside that some users have is that the graphics are somewhat cartoonish. I personally didn't mind the 'funky' graphics but it does make the game look shallow when it is isn't. I thinks its made in Blitx Basic (or Max?) The game itself is pretty cool and it's really amazing how much fun you can have with it. With the built in script editor you can technically make any kind of game you want. And whatever you do don't smoke a joint! Stranded.unrealsoftware.de (13MB) And don't forget Sovereign on this website! I know you are looking for ideas so try Stranded 2 and Sovereign to get some ideas. Edited by: TenaciousXL |

I like that concept. It certainly sounds like a game worth playing. Let me know if you're not going to use this idea. |

I made a new thread in recruiting for the game Adapt or Perish though It may say adapt or survive, which is a mistake. Edited by: canis_lupus |
