Story In the future humanity faces extreme drought and does not have much time left so in a last ditch attempt they planet comes together in an effort to find a solution to the crisis. They form a planetary government and gather the world's brightest minds to come up with a solution, what they found was an ocean planet dubbed "Posidonia", not much was known of this world but they sent a ship anyway which was filled with scientists and marine explorers so that they could find the solution to the drought on earth. They found it and sent a transmission to earth asking for the government to send a pickup team but before the transmission ended a member of the crew killed the man transmitting the message and stated that the solution was impossible to achieve and cut transmission, this prompted the planetary government to send a rescue and recovery team to retrieve the solution and rescue as many of the crew as they can, this is where the players come in. Gameplay. What it means if you join up. This would effectively be a job, there would be no pay until the game was released, salaries and such will be established once we have released more games and built up a company in the future. Everything and I do mean everything will be a group decision. My skills. Edited by: Deadman1020 |

Well, I say it sounds a little like "infection/Flood" from the Halo series, but with traps and such. From that point of view it sounds like a good idea, flesh out that type of game mode. For the rest that is lacking. You would do better in not being lazy, and not pointing out you're lazy either when looking for people to help you. I know I would not want to jump on a team where the person with the idea says he's lazy as it most likely will reflect on his works quality or time to complete it. Then, I hate to be this guy, proper grammar, sentence structure and paragraphs get you a lot farther than what you scribbled down here. I found 3 punctuations, it wasn't all to pleasant to read. Paragraphs help you put some space in the text and also separate different topics in the text from each other. That way different ideas and explanations do not get mixed together. The last thing I do recommend is to write down a better description of your game idea. Because to you everything is crystal clear, but to someone who doesn't know you and just hears the idea, they have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know if this is a first person shooter, third person game, top down game and so forth. Will there be guns for the rescue team? Can they defend themselves? Or are they just walking around a big metal maze where other players can put traps? Can traps be detected? You do not need yo write a 50 page essay on it, just write enough so that other people know what the game is about. You can then later flesh out each idea by explaining it in text, but that would be the functionality of the mechanics and features, not necessarily something a possible reader need to know. Those descriptions would be for your team to use when they create the game. What I want to recommend to you is that you write that proper game description and then do some work of your own before looking for a team. That shows that you have a clear view of what you want and that you are capable of doing something towards it as well as having already done something towards your goal. The less you've done to achieve what you want, the lesser chance you have of completing it as well as getting people to help you. With that, good luck. Hope to see more of this as infection and flood were rather fun game modes in Halo. |
