So you want to start a successful thread. . .

From my knowledge of posting threads on other sites, I give you some of my advice on making good threads.

First off, read the forum rules and terms of use. You don't want a ban.

HAVE AN INTERESTING TOPIC

The best threads are the ones that interest members. Say something new. Say something unique. Something new and unique would interest forum members to post here. Also, do not double post or post something that someone else has posted already.

Post a new thread with unique content. "Unique" does not mean illiteracy or inappropriate content, as that would only cause people to flame you or report you.

ADD AN INTERESTING TITLE

Add a good title that would catch people's attention. Make the title funny, informative or clever would help. However, do not clickbait people into the thread with stuff like "Moms Are Angered By This New Content" , as that would just reduce your own credibility. Also, try to avoid equivocation or ambiguity.

ADD IMAGES AND VIDEOS (if applicable)

If what you are posting has something to do with a video, a game, or a movie, make sure to include images and videos to brighten up your thread. Making your thread look nice and professional would allow yourself to gain more posts and views on your thread.

USE PROPER FORMATTING AND ENGLISH

oy dIdd somtING eNd thean mai dogg GhrEw unhELty soo i mOdded a gaMemod to reeis fUDinGg for dogg cAnSur cUUere.

Can you read that? Probably not. Would an English professor be happy? Probably not.

Would people post on a thread that looks like that? Probably not.

It is important to make your thread legible and understandable, so people would be able to reply accordingly.

INTEREST YOUR READERS

Make your readers interested by your content. Add humor, add images, add videos and more to make your thread interesting and fun to post in. Also, you must participate in your thread to make it interesting.

If the original poster started the thread, then he must participate, or others would just think the OP is trying to get views.

Lastly. . .

PREVIEW, PREVIEW!!!

Make sure everything is in place before you post.

Hope this helps,

foxdimi

Well, not really, this ain't it, unless you want to follow this guide when submitting a new article. Forum threads and articles are two completely different things.
