How Do I get Hammer? Thread

this may be a big noob question but I have been searching around for the hammer editor for the long time, can anyone tell me where do get it also how to open it?

most source games come bundled with the source sdk
if its in the tools menu but grayed out, double click it and download it
hammer is in the menu there

lol isnt it pretty obvious that its the part called hammer i mean it does say "hammer editor"
you are lucky you are gonna start using it now 1 month ago you would have been starting a new thread on how to set up that crap u must do the first time you open it but they fixed it with the new update

Ok buddy,

I am new. you dont have to be a dick about it.

Its not "obvious" - You first have to download "source SDK" which is over 100mb and if you have no idea what SDK stands for why on earth would you download it ?
THEN you have to launch it and then you see "hammer editor"

Be nice benguy1 , we were all beginners once.
