Im wondering how he has managed to get non 90 degreed walls in the build engine (im talking about z angle) -- |

I doubt he has ported anything. I suspect he has just changed the textures in HL2, or lowered his res, taken screenshots and claimed this is what HL2 would look like had i ported it to duke nukem -- Scott Reismanis |

i'm not into the build engine but i'd guess he used lotta sprites to fake the walls you can't do otherwise with build. |

*Just looks at the pics and laughs* That was just too funny to describe. --

That's the explanation for it dragonlord. Build is like doom's engine, you can't get non-vertical walls in it. Also how the hell did he get 3d models into build? -- |

its not a waste im sure a lot of people wonder what it would be like to see hl 2 on the build engine -- Grammar is my worst enemy along with flying chairs.

like i said: sprites. i fiddeled once around with build back then and sprites you can rotate if i'm not completly mistaken. i could not make a catwalk with a slope so i used a sprite and faked the slope with it ^_^. that's just what i think to remeber of a couple of days trying to get a map done there... |

gl_picmip 8 bang By the way, build looks better than that in texture resolution, the average build engine game uses a 128x128 texture for walls and 64x64 for floors/ceiling, and can be scaled. Edited by: leilei -- < insert subject games here >

Ok, that picture is entirely unnecessary Not to mention, this is only your fourth post, so you don't have any rights to tell an admin what to do, idiot -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

If he had 50,000 posts, he still could not tell an admin what to do -- Nothing. |

Hey man lay off, he has a right to his own opinion while I dont entirely agree with it no need to flame someone for what they think --

Uh, Build supported ramps... They were everywhere. You didn't notice them? The very first level of DN3D started in a room with a triangular-prism-shaped object. --
