So I've been toying around with this idea of a short non-linear game where the players are prompted to do certain things by npcs and rewarded with certain dialogue pertaining to the story. How would this be done? Example: An NPC says that he needs help clearing out a room in a building. If you are successful in this, he rewards you with a hint or clue in the form of dialogue. |

Source doesn't seem like the best engine for this. But from what you've said you should be able to set that up within hammer. Edited by: ngs616 |

There was a quest system in a HL2 mod I played recently: Bloodstone - The Journey Home. Don`t know how they did it, but maybe you can find out by looking at their code or send them a mail and ask them! |
