Bonjovi to all! Just a quick question....do any of you fine modders know the polycount limit on a HL2 or a CSS map? Thankies! ^^ --

I think that the polycount is limited by your computer's power Not sure really, but the maps don't look more detailed than q3a maps -- |

lets just say characters are around 3500 now multiiply that by..alot? |

I think your best bet would be to decompile a map and look at the number of brushes rather than the number of polys. The make a simple room, take note of the polycount then convert THAT to brushes to compare. You probably won't get a very accurate statistic, but I don't know a better way of doing it. |
