Hi,
[sorry if this a redundant post, but i couldn't figure out what to search for something similar to this]
My name is Aurko. Getting straight to the point, from my childhood times, i loved everything about games. I loved it so much, that i fixed my mind that i had to get into this world, see how the Pro work, how they think, how they come up with such a great things...
Though now i have gotten a LOT older (23 years), but still i dream the same way. I have tried may times to get myself started with a game. But for some reasons i always tend to fail (didnt know how to use google, youtube, couldn't pass the getting started phase and may other reasons). And i fill really sad/guilty for that.

Now, the main thing, somehow i gave myself enough push to actually get started on a project. And have made a small team (2.6 person, and yes thts a point) and started learning Unity3D and 3Ds Max (for char models and animations).
But what gives me shivers at night is
"have i started too late?";
"will i ever be able to get to my dream?";
"am i going in a wrong direction?";
"will making a few playable game make any difference?"

All the big or small, new and experienced game developers out there, please help me out. I really want some feedback from you guys. Any suggestions or notes will be highly appreciated. Thanks! :)
Oh! little details  about me, I am a under-grad student doing my CSE (Computer Science and Eng) from Bangladesh. I still have about 1 year left. And i wish to be a game/level designer in future. But yea, i can also do programming, fair enough to write Unity or UDK script. ;)

Thank you guys... [in advance]

well I'm 38, still would love to work on a game, but who knows if I ever will. My suggestion, take with a grain of salt, is start with something small that you can finish but still be proud of.

Definitely not too old :) I'm 24 and currently working in QA and trying to build up my portfolio to get a dev position. Just keep on working on creating content and content that you actually finish, post on websites, get feedback, show off your stuff join mod projects, make mini games and utilise twitter. That would be my advice anyway, hope that helps!

No one is ever too old to make games, if it's truly your passion age shouldn't matter.
I wish you the best :D
