Well, hello there! Once upon a time, in a far far away kingdom a young prince lived with his family and this prince... err, I mean a time ago I posted about this thingies over here: First Game Concept and basic GDD with additional information

Anyhow, time has passed and that was buried within the shadows of the pasts (nostalgic music fades in and a blow of wind shakes the earth... HOLY SHI-) in that time to be honest I was working a lot more the idea, talking with some people about the probabilities of making this a realistic goal and a feasible project, after some time of thinking all over and over how can I express this without making GTA game like, the idea of Point and Click games came all over my head... So, I'll explain this a little bit more:

Breathing is sometimes used as a metaphor for life itself and often "last breath" is the most obvious sign that death has occurred. The association between the end of life and breathing is not absolute, as scientists have discovered the brain/mind can continue to function for a few minutes without oxygen and/or its properties.

Breath will be a 3D game focused on the life and death of teenagers' purity in the current day by day situation. In this game nowadays youngsters are exposed to mass media advertising telling them what to use, wear and listen; some even fall over the media and start believing that the world is like the TV shows, beginning to think the same way their "Idols" do. This being represented in their tendencies... but there are those who oppose them, and live the negative part not mostly shown: Drugs, sex, violence and isolation. In this game, we will be the opposition, the counterculture and ugly side of life tapped by most people. The role given to us is the one of a socially rejected teenager trying to survive a media and infested subculture society, presenting use and abuse of violence, sex and drugs in an explicit, non-censored realistic way.

Also, the game will not present you a "must-follow-story" instead you will be given a good number of NPCs you can interact and then set up the plot. Every NPC will have its own personality, likes, rivalries and agenda.

a. Game Features:
a.1. First person camera that will include most of the animations of actions such as: taking on drugs, walking and running.
a.2. An inventory based on slots that will be set according to your clothes.
a.3. Dark tuned story guided via NPC interactions making every experience different.
a.4. Wide urban areas set in a dystopian future.
a.5. Explore the Chasm, a world where the inner self is shown.
b. Engine: Unreal 3 (UDK... God bless EPIC for this and their royalty based license)

Now probably you are thinking: "This sounds just like Oblivion, but without main quest" And yeah, it seems very similar, but how it is not the same thing? Well, that's because this game will be divided into chapters and the NPCs for the plot, will define the plot elements, the city itself will be divided into loading zones similar to Thief. (It's not like we are going to do a whole country to everybody to talk around)

Besides, the chapters will be presented as expansions that will allow you to continue the plot you created just where you left it, adding new elements to the original version (to items, to NPCs, etc)

So, that's about it for now! This project it's looking for people that can do one or the next two things:

* 3D Artists (Characters)
* 3D Artists (Props and scenery)
* Programmers
* Writers (for plot and NPCs creation)
* Texturers
* An Engine Manager: and this means that I want someone who will be setting up everything in the engine, his labor will be checking up with me that everything runs nice and smoothly in there, making this a more dynamic process for getting better results. Two heads thinks better than one ;)

I'm giving anyone who is willing to participate freedom to create anything the way they can, only if what they create and model fits with the concept; I mean, you can do the monsters, NPCs, props and everything else as your imagination see fits, and I will only ask you to stick up with the style will be using :)

About the back story for the game plot... well I'll keep that a secret and will be told for those interested in this :) So feel free to PM me or to post in this thread! Thanks for reading!

I´m interested but I would like to see some kind of consept work or something to get better idea what will the game look like. I have used SDK, 3ds max, zbrush, motion builder, bodypaint 3d, unfold3d, crazybumb, adobe premiere and photoshop cs4. Did few maps for UT3 and some props for maps, nothing special tough. I like to do organic models mostly but mechanical goes too. I can also make maps if needed.
