Half Life 2 - New Music Thread

Hi all! I'm about to begin one of my more fun projects.

I've played all half life games and to be honest I've always felt they lacked proper music with proper feel to it. So I've taken it upon myself to score Half Life 2, EP1 and EP2 with completely original musicand post it here as a mod.

I know there will at least be a handful of people who understand where I'm coming from and even less may be open to using my music but I'm gonna do it and see what happens.

I'll write up the mod just now and will update obviously, however the point in this thread was not only to bring this to your attention but to hear comments from people on what kinds of music to include and, if I make a main theme, whether I should carry that over into all three games.

Tell me what you think.

I don't quite get it. Do you want to compose actually new music for the game or take some existing score and throw it over the existing?
If you are not confortable with the soundtrack you have the option of Fakefactory's Cinematic Mod. You can look under cinematicmod.com . This Mod replaces the graphics, pimps up the engine, speak is just incredible! And, it lays over a cinematic score from Hollywood productions like Batman. You can try it out, if you like HL and have a good rig, thats shurly your taste.
