Gman5690	ok so when i play half life 2 in single player, it runs perfectly. no lag whatso ever. but when i try to play ANY half life 2 mod on this site, it lags SOOOOO bad. idk why either, ive tried fixing it by lowering the settings but that doesnt help at all. can someone help me plz?

Wraiyth That Guy Who Does Those Things With The Stuff	ANY HL2? Even something like, say, Dystopia? Same graphics settings? What you gotta remember is that modders tend to target different specs than game developers and also don't usually take the time to optimize the hell out of everything and tweak it so its perfect. The content used is different and all that kind of stuff -- My Homepage

Bytrix Annihilation Developer	It could be that you've found an incompatibility between the Source SDK Base and your particular hardware since the code is slightly different than that used in Half-Life 2 (and note most mods now run on the Episode 1 version of the engine or the orangebox version which does require slightly more power than the original Half-Life 2 engine) -- Has anyone seen my companion cube?
