Guest Comments Not Appearing Thread

Hello,

I just noticed that some comments on my game page are not appearing to the public. I was told I need to approve them. So after upvoting them I checked again but they seemed to still be hidden. Is there some way for me to approve these that im missing?

Also I was curious if every time I post a news article I would have to wait for admin approval.

those guest comments need at least 10 upvotes or 1 upvote with the power of 10 votes to be "approved" on the site. So for example if an admin or an old community member upvotes a guest comment, it immediately goes public/visible (because their single vote counts as 10 votes).

Yes they have to as articles need to be properly formatted/reviewed by the site staff to land on the front page - also you can check the "keep private" option to keep your article immediately archived (visible) on the site but that almost blocks you from having it frontpaged. However it can be still un-archived and featured by the site staff - but best to use that option only if you wish your article visible only on your pages not when you want it immediately go public.
