Giant bug mod! Thread

Hey I came up with this idea for a mod with Giant bugs, it would be good on plenty of engines basically just one gametype would be fun. It's not ALL origional but the main story and ideas will be. I got a lot of ideas from the anime Blue Gender and the movie Star Ship Troopers. It will be somewhere in the near futer between the times 2010-2050 or something like that. It will be based in Japan and the story can span around areas to europe and other parts of asia. A group of Japanese scientist discover a new species in southern China, they bring the specimens to Japan to study it. From what they can tell, it is harmless but intelligent. They soon relize each one of these creatures has cells that they have never seen, with the technology of thier time, they get the cells and experiment finding interesting facts about these new cells. After a few days, the cells started to mutate and change forms. These scientist were not prepaired to let the public or the goverment know about this knew species, or the cells. So they keep it to themselves. One day, the creatures they discovered a few weeks earlier, began to grow and change the way they looked. They attacked the scientist and all military personal in the facility. They quickly found a way out of the big building that is in the middle of a huge greenland. They make it to towns and destroy all in sight, of course they don't fight eachother though. The next day the military made it to the town infested with the bugs and failed to delete all of them. Some could fly, all could swim, so that made it easy for them to reach other countries, fast. Katsume Ozuro leader of the expedition of scientist and highly decorated admiral Yujiro Senzen in charge of military, both take leadership of a moonbase created a few months after the attacks started. Only one year and the bugs took over the Earth and killed most of the population. The only people on Moonbase are those in the military and scientist, no exceptions were made for citizens. They were in a war with the bugs, and untill then thier home was moon base. Of course assignments were up for all military to do, to go to earth and get important people, or to destroy a hive(where the bugs leave eggs for thousands more to come). They later discover the bugs came from another planet out of our solar system. The scientist were ready to take any risks to get the planet back.

The ending will be like this:
Some people were getting ready to leave to Moon Base, they get there successfully. They realize when they do, some of the bugs got in the storage room and they get out and kill everyone who stayed on moonbase. A lot of people made it back on Earth, finished the war and won their planet back. Of course the 2 bad guys Katsume and Yujiro couldn't make it out and died.
Well what do you guys think, I don't really know how a single player mode could be made of this except you being a random person and making a story for him/her. But multi-player would be pretty fun I think. The soldiers would have weapons like, Knife,Hand gun, then a machine gun, shotgun or rocket launcher. Then there would be extra things you can use like Mechs, and mini guns attached to the ground. And thier uniforms would be like in Blue gender where they would have some mask of some sort then armor or something.
I just came up with this story in like, 2 minutes so don't tell me it sucks or anything. I don't care if anyone uses these ideas I don't plan on using them .

Does anyone else think this storyline sounds alot like the movie Evolution?

Not alot, but a fair bit.

What are you talking about? It's not like evolution at all, exept for the giant bugs.

Yea it sounds cool but you should model all new bugs instead of using Antlions

I haven't even seen the movie evolution lol, I got ideas from Blue Gender and Star ship troopers only, nothing else except my own mind. Thanks for the comments .
