I think I've got a longer list of stuff I wish I didn't buy.  :)

...Minecraft cost 10 dollars in alpha stage, and even in full version it only costs 30 bucks.

...NeverDead still costs 50 bucks (60 in some places), but is probably one of the worst hack'n'slash/shooter games this generation.

Price doesn't really matter as much as quality.

Disclaimer -- the following below is NOT sarcasm:

Play Spec Ops: The Line. No, seriously, play it. NOW! It's probably still on sale on Amazon for crying out loud! I wish more games had balls like this game does, paired with some of the best writing, mechanics, and level design that's been seen this side of linear shooters.

Sins of a Solar Empire, it's a game that'll make you shit bricks when you realize how amazing it is. Though a game I do regret buying is Saints Row: The Third, it looked extremely promising compared to the other two in the trilogy which I fell in love with, paid a full wopping 60$ for it.

I can understand not taking to Deus Ex or M&B, but Bioshock? I'm curious why.

I haven't thought of that, because the games I buy aren't taht regretable. Maybe the PS2 verson of COD: WAW. Got me sucked into FPSs.

I found the answer :)

Here is the fix:

1) Your Call of Duty: Black Ops config file is here > Steam|steamapps|common|call of duty black ops|players
If you are on 64-bit windows, you will be looking for |Program Files (x86)|)
2) Open config_mp.cfg in Notepad or Wordpad (I reccomend navigating to this file from notepad's "Open" dialogue, making sure to change the dropdown from "Open *.txt files" to "Open all files *.*")
3) ctrl+F to open the "Find" dialogue
4) Search for "r_multiGpu"
5) If r_multiGpu is set to 1, change it to 0, unless you have multiple GPU's
6) Search for r_multithreaded_device
7) If r_multithreaded_device is set to 0, change it to 1, unless you have a single core processor

Magicka
Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West (great if you like third person, over the shoulder style gameplay)
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (classic)
Call of Duty 4
Left 4 Dead 2 (can't remember if that one was bought for me or if I bought it)

I prefer the last two because of the team play mechanics (Magicka especially), L&G it's a wild western (what's not to love?), CoD4 for when I really must shoot someone.

The 90s were the best years of gaming, there are better games today (And some worser games to) but in my opinion the 90s had the best games.

Try Mech Warrior Online. It'll be coming out soon and there'll be plenty of people to play with. And it'll be F2P.
