Howdy Folks!

Jeff Mills here. I'm the Community Manager for (I'm sure Scott can confirm my identity, we've had a few email exchanges in the past)

I wanted to personally extend our apologies for the download issues you are experiencing. I know many of you have submitted tickets regarding them and we are replying to each one as quickly as possible. As you can imagine, there have been quite a few to respond to and we will certainly reply to each one as they came in. (Keep in mind, we recently had a holiday in the states so we're a little backlogged due to that)

Those who are experiencing the "file not found" error message when attempting to download the file, if you could please try to download your files again and see if they work. We believe the issue may have been resolved but since we do not have anyone at Game Front that works outside of North America, we cannot personally confirm it ourselves.

If you are still encountering errors, please submit a ticket to our support system at I'm sure the folks at moddb would rather have their forums discuss things more related to their own site instead of ours.

This is still an ongoing issue... right?

I've tried a few times these past weeks really and still get the "file not found" message.

Every file... After the "Your download will begin in a few seconds" and then get this:

"Firefox can't find the file at**LONG LINK**
Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

I've also tried other subpages, such as Halo, same thing happens there. When I try a proxy I got through, though. I'm from Sweden, which is on the list.

Same problem as Tipom and the others...
so if we are on the list of blocked countries (don't want to get into that one) is there any way of bypassing this,
like some ID replacer program or something?

You will need to use ModDB mirrors. More of these, and more capacity are coming online from the 25th of March just before GDC.
