It's only been couple weeks since we added our game on IndieDB.

Although we were in progress of adding things to our game channel, we've received an email from IndieDB saying that our game has been archived due to following reasons:

- Lacking news
- Lacking images
- Lacking videos
- Lacking downloads
- Already listed
- Poor formatting / quality
- Violation of another's intellectual property
- Violates terms of use (Indiedb.com)
- REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST SHOW PROGRESS, NEW GAMES ARE NOT ALLOWED

Since then we've tried to reach IndieDB twice via 'contact us' link in the past week with no response from them, although it says inquiries will be answered within 48 hours.

I was wondering if our game could be reinstated so that we could make changes.

Thanks.

I have authorized it for you, it is simply because images and videos need to be added to your gallery: Indiedb.com (empty profiles as you can appreciate are no good!)

Thanks INtense! We'll be updating soon.

You have only 3 days to fill your profile page with media (1 image 1 video at least, or 3 images) as stated in submission requirements on your page when it is in un-authorised state. Not 3 weeks. So your game page could be even deleted sooner, right after those 3 days of inactivity.

Well you can always ask here on forums, if TKAzA cannot answer you via the support e-mail, other site staff members can reply and help you.

Hey, INtense. I also sent out a contact email last Saturday I believe and still haven't received any replies. Not to change the subject, but is there something wrong with your contact link?

@feillyne: It says that an email will be sent by a moderator if the game does not fit requirements. It is at /that/ point that the 3 day period comes into effect. It only says to work on your profile and wait for a mod. If it's intended otherwise, that's understandable, but the wording is very clear in that it's 3 days after a moderator tells you what to fix, if anything.

That is not the literal meaning of those terms however.

If the game does not adhere to any of the points above, the leader will be sent an email (or private message) from a site administrator with the details. It will then be the leaders responsiblity to correct the issue within 3 days or the game will be deleted.

The site staff will contact you if you don't fulfill specific terms in an unusual way - for example relevant game name, description, preview and header but irrelevant screenshots.

If you don't meet base criteria such as your profile contains not enough media or contains a blatant copyright infringement, or e.g. trolling/totally irrelevant content your page will be investigated and removed off the site after 3 or more days (trolling/flaming content can be deleted earlier without any warning), and only the generic reply/notification from the system will be sent to you after the deed.

If you have not uploaded at least 3 images or other media to fill up the profile it means you ignored one of the basic site terms & requirements that are clearly defined on your game page. Especially considering that most of the profiles make it through with enough media added and they are authorised daily without any hassle.

TKAzA handles support e-mails, but you can ask on forums or send a PM about any issues to INtense! (business, bugs, web and payment issues), TKAzA (copyrights, community disputes and problems, general help) or feillyne (authorisation process of any content).

Well, Feillyne. It's actually you I would need to talk to then! :D

Basically what it boils down is a few things. Let me give you a general idea of how things went:

1. Added my game with a couple screenshots.

2. Received an automated email with links for help and such.

3. A couple days passed. No emails or notifications.

4. Added a couple more screenshots while sending an email asking if the automated email was the one from a mod mentioned on the page.

5. Noticed that (moderator) traffic increased. No links were added to my signature at the time. Ranking jumped to around 800 that night.

6. Added more screenshots and have been waiting since. No replies or notifications regarding the authorization process.

Not to complain but this process has been going for about a week now. I'm sure at this point that the game was examined by multiple moderators, so I can definitely tell that something is either causing controversy or I was sent a notification and it was lost in transit. I'm not complaining about the length I've waited. I'm just confused what causing it to be ignored, essentially. Does that make sense?

If the profile was still not authorised you would receive instructions on what's needed to have the profile authorized. We have plans to improve the submission process. Any delay in email response is my fault and I'm sorry for any inconvinence caused. You can always contact me direct on site for support.
