Freelancer run problem on Windows 10 Thread

I just built my new Windows 10 system, and have reinstalled Freelancer. I initially had several .dll errors come up, but extracted those from the CD; and still the game will not run. I have used both the FL 1.1 patch and the 1.4 unofficial patch; neither worked. I run the game in compatibility mode, get a User Account Control query, click yes and nothing happens. The game just crashes before it is seen.

I am using the NO CD exe file, but does not run either way.
