I havent found any tutorials on this for my coders.
Anyone know how to make the stock HL flashlight stronger and control its width, height and reach?
If i missed a tutorial with all that in it, can u link me?
Thanks alot.

Well no help witht he flashlight :(
My coder has given up on it , we will wait for HL2 , maybe we can change the flashlight easier in that :)

never heard of being able to do that... i dunno, perhaps it can be done, but no matter what you do, your better off waiting for hl2

I asked that question some time ago on the VERC forums. apparently it is not possible because 'that' part of the code hasnt been released

its not possible modifying the flash light code because flashlight is done in engine. what you could do is make a dlight and an elight and use a client traceline to determine where should the origin be. the only problem with that is that the client will only see the effect, no one else on the server will. i use elights to make my NVG and it works great to light up entities.

on the server? i use elight on the client side to create an NVG effect for my mod, i use it instead of EF_BRIGHTLIGHT because i can specify the light radius, color and origin.
