Had a HDD-Crash, and reinstalled everything, including Steam, and Games/Mods.
So I just downloaded Desura to install one of the Mods, I like, Modular Combat.

But before I could install it, Desura wanted to know the Steam-Accountname I was using.
(would be normally my Steam-Username)

But the Installation-Proces failed completely, leaving me to kill the entire Process via the TaskManager.

Then I selected sourcemods as the "Account", and it installed just fine.

So my Request goes towards the Developers: Make "sourcemods" a seperate entry in the settings, to always install all SourceMods, without having to switch between the Settings
Thanks in advance!

sourcemods should not show up as an account to select. Only valid steam accounts. have you logged into steam once at this stage?

Installed and logged into Steam before,

Hmm, seems like i had to update, now on Version 100.26 (Wasn't updated, when installing ModularCombat, and not switched back to my Accountname, when I installed "Missing Information".

Now I've switched the Desura to my Steam-Account, and it works on installing "Research and Development" (unless the installation-Process needs a restart, to internally accept the switched username-Folder) - naw, it just crashed again, and It isn't because of any HDD-Capacity-Lag (Got still 827GB available, where Steam is installed to)
Sesura on my username, installing a sourcemod - Crash - had to kill the desura.exe-Processes, Now permanently saying "84% - installing" - retrying to install - same result - deleting the mod
Set Desura to sourcemods - installing - done

The sourcemods folder is located in the same folder as the account folders, not in one of them, it's shared amongst all users.
But hl1 mods are installed into the half-life directory inside the account folder, while source mods are installed to the sourcemods folder outside of the account folders, so I'm pretty sure you have to use the sourcemods option for that reason and only choose your account for hl1 mods (and other steam game specific stuff I guess).

@Danboe:
That's exactly the Problem, I was mentioning here.

On the other hand, it's so much obvious, that every Sourcemod has to go into the sourcemod-Folder, that it should be either stored as an additional Folder-Option, so that the "switching back-and-forth", or that it should be automatically detected for the Sourcemods.

Even the latest Update didn't solve this obvious problem.
