frosty-theaussie Sonny Jim	I know this is a little late, but for those of you who do not know, the upcoming first-person shooter developed by the German studio CryTek went gold on February 9, 2004. Here's the official news post from the official website: Tuesday 09.03.2004 Far Cry is gold! Ubisoft and Crytek are proud to announce that Far Cry™ has gone gold! The game is scheduled to release in the UK on March 26th. So there you have it. Rumour has it that Far Cry will be released in Germany a day earlier than that, and the US and Australian release dates should also be on the 26th. Pre-order your copy today. --

frosty-theaussie Sonny Jim	Also, in other news, CryTek have announced that they will be releasing a brand new single-player demo mission called "Boat" in the upcoming days. The resulting response on the official forums have expressed that the community would prefer a multi-player demo, or the official SDK and map editor, "Sandbox". --

frosty-theaussie Sonny Jim	An ex-employee who was upset with CryTek filed a complaint with the German police, and stated that CryTek was using pirated software to develop Far Cry. When the FSK (or is that GSG?) searched CryTek's premesis, they didn't end up finding anything. In the end, it turned out the claims were false. --
