f0u	Hey guys! I had some inspiration last night so I started to build custom buildings & structures for my next maps. Here is a "spooky" concept Hahaha! : This is not part of an actual map but you'll be able to play in something similar soon. Edited by: f0u

Otreum	sweet, but i'm rather disappointed when you say we can't go inside of it BTW judo, join in on the D-Day invasion server that R6 and I have got going (r6 made server, 2 maps are his, the rest are mine, 1 has a tank that eagle made). It's great fun with the server is full and eagle bans those nasty no gooders. I've been recording footage to release a video teaser of the d-day invasion server, but need about another 4 maps recorded before I can compile it all together. Edited by: Otreum

I just often build different concepts & some custom structures in the same "test" map so I can start more than one level from it. This church is made of fence blocks so it wouldn't be hard to put an accurate interior to it! If framerates permit it I'll do it for sure.

gamerjerome No I'm white	Yeah it's been dead. Although I saw the trailer to Red Dead Redeption from rock star. Well this is what happens.. Not done, 40% maybe. These are just teasers shots. Full large map. Basses "aka small towns" at each corner. Detailed authentic western buildings. You can enter all of them. Detailed terain and cliffs. Hidden areas and caves. Otreum	Looks good, although you may want to add actual cliff rocks to those cliff areas. I assume that because it's only 40% done, you are going to do that anyway yes? Anyway, I like it, it may be a bit big however, but I still like it.

gamerjerome No I'm white	I'll be adding some rocks but most of it will be texture as shown. Obviously caves are rocks. The cliff tops and faces are actually edgy it's just hard to tell from those pics. I'm very big on optimization. Ive seen too many maps that run horable. So far Ive tested this map on a 3.4GHz P4 with the Saphire 3850 AGP card and I was getting 30-40fps on medium settings. Edited by: gamerjerome

Otreum	yeah, but with optimization, if you have a really shit system, there is not much point optimizing for really shit systems, because that means everyone with average to good systems are going to look at your map and think "this looks so bland" due to the lack of detail. I personally dont think a map should be crammed full of un necessary detail, however, details like cliffs are must...people generally don't like seeing just raised terrain as it looks boring and crap. Anyway, R6_eagle and I have got a D-Day server going with a whole campaign full of D-Day maps that run in succession to one another, it has gained a really good reception online and has become quite popular...it will be even better now with the hardcore patch . Here is the link to the thread on the ubisoft forums, with youtube videos for each of the maps. Forums.ubi.com Feel free to join in on the server.

Otreum	I don't play Far Cry 2 anymore sorry, lol. I was all far cry 2'd out after the competitions and then R6_eagle's and my D-Day server. It's now sitting on a shelf collecting dust now.
