Yea sorry i wasn't asking if there was a limit but i was just hoping that one could be enforced see i thought that they said submit as many as possible because they might not have realized that ppl would spam so much stuff.. it literally takes less than 10 minutes to make alot of these maps some ppl submit just need some quality control but yea u are right u can post as many as u want heh. --

I found out how to host a server! So please join if you see my map in the list I will also change the map for control point gameplay, would be alot better imho. Video for Storm_a1: Vimeo.com Guys that looks great, the dam is just dam awesome. And Xaku I couldn't join you when I saw your server, I joined and than when the map was loaded I auto disconnected each time Anyway it looks cool too, I want to play it.

Playtesting your own map is awesome, people liked the map, but I noticed some serious flaws. I'm gonna do some writing tomorrow and make it in a little project. What went wrong, what I'm gonna change etc...

hey Ive got a question... i got the email for this comp. and designed a map or two for this only to find out its computer only! i have an x360 and i wonder why console owners were excluded from this comp.

HooverDam_1.1 Here is a small video showing what happened in today's playtest! had a bit of funfunfun to be honest! am pretty happy with it :) you can now download it ingame! and i will upload to moddb once i write out a txt file and eat some food! :> oh btw the video is just a bit of fun! dont take very seriously! my computer runs at like 2 fps when i record and play at same time hence the reason im entering this competition! enjoy tho! I agree, they are nice videos since they show gameplay in the maps, which helps the judges with their decision, since they can see how the maps may play out with people on a server. BTW, kudo's to the people who made those videos and didn't play that damn "house of a thousand corpses" song or whatever it is...you know "let the bodies hit the floor let the bodies hit the floor, etc etc". The music fit well with the videos, well done fellas

Let the bodies hit the floor is Drowning Pool, and indeed is over used. But I know RazorB has some experience in making game movies, and he would probably never use those songs. That Kampala map is having some issues right now, I may need to restart it and plan it more thoroughly. In the mean time, I started working on a new map. A GIANT CHUCK NORRIS STATUE!! Here is a look through his nostrils. Well I might continue Kampala from where I left off anyways, depends on how I feel about it later on. But here's another update, let me know what you think. That hill and those buildings in the distance are meant to make the map seem more large. If I design it right, it should be seemless and you don't actually see the base of the hill or any streets leading into it. EDIT: Argh, I hit the heigh limit on the map editor, I guess I can't fit Chuck Norris's whole body. Edited by: Ghost.X

What a joke, youtube deletes every song I put on my video and vimeo just bans my account for uploading a video where I run around in the editor O_O And lol at the chuck norris! Chuck norris is so big he can't be made in the Far Cry 2 editor. Edited by: Snipergen

You know im not sure, but this isnt the only map im making this happens to be the lastest one. im more sutied to gamplay, los Agua covers all the gamemodes and has some good balanced play. haha not sure, yea it is a pretty standard map. im working on a space ship map right now. i think ill enter that one and this other im working on under the "what the ???" ill post some pic's later. razorb i like your hover damn map it looks great Edited by: KTR-19

Because it is for the PC version, we can control the content, servers and other things more then the 360 version.

also you guys should upload those videos to moddb and add them to your maps description
