Hey there... I don't frequent forums too much and if I posted things in a fashion that isn't to your liking then say so..no need to get your "shorts in a knot" and prove your intelligence level to all here... I'm only anxious for some help...guess I'm not gonna get any from you ..eh? (Sheesh..who pooped in your porridge?!) |

Nope, you're not. (I don't know about unreal engine stuff) Use some common sense, it's obviously not too smart to post three consecutive topics in 4 hours, the last one saying, 'man isn't anyone up around here'. Hey there..no offence taken Mr.Admin. Didn't realize that there were other people accessing these forums with problems like mine..(silly me!) Anyway it did force me to find my own answers..gotta love that Google engine..That error message refers to a shortcut that isn't placed on the desktop.as far as I could surmise..I went into the system folder and found the Face off Mod folder, the exe. icon and just "short-cutted" it to my desktop..Works for both Jungle Warfare Mod (it's a .bat file that you are lookin' for)and the better (i think!) Face off mod. I hope that this post redeems me and any "mistakes" I've made in posting netiquette and that it helps at least one more gamer experience these awesome mods.. As far as you not knowing about "unreal engine stuff", I thought this was a gaming mod forum.. Here I'll do you a favour and give you a link...This engine..this game is addicting in it's experience!! Have a good one.. |

OK ... I found it.... There was the Mod description missing in the Mod 's INT file ... I created my own "King of The hill" mod, deriving from xDeathMatch ... You just have to look into "XGame.int" ... and edit the line : Description="DM|DeathMatch|xinterface.Tab_IADeathMatch|xinterface.MapListDeathMatch|false&quo by changing "DeathMatch" data into "YourMod" data ... then copy the line into the Mod's package INT file ... hope it'll fix your stress, peace, citraL |
