Trying to upload my mod, first I tried Google Drive...but it says unable to connect even when I link straight to the download. And it says it supports Google Drive, but it doesn't.

Then I made my mod smaller to a 6 part mod, but I can't even upload my first part of it. It says "Error uploading"

It uploads for a little bit (about 45 seconds) and then it fails to upload.

Anyone know why this is happening? Tried Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox, they all do the same thing

Generally when you run into this issue the only real solution is to manually upload the file from your PC. Unfortunately the system isn't smart enough to be able to grab every file from every link.

Besides mediafire and googledrive how else can we upload links? The rest cost money.

Dropbox used to work, youtube does, ftp should.

Dropbox costs money. Googledrive and mediafire are free.

Have you tried a different web browser? How big is the file, what is it's type?

We had some server issues last night, perhaps trying again might help?

Is anyone else getting this issue today? I was able to upload a build this morning but for the past several hours I receive "failed to upload". It doesn't matter where I try to upload from or which build (I even tried the same build I successfully uploaded earlier today)

I am still wondering as of today whether uploads from Google Drive or Mediafire indirect links are working but not for me. Why direct links? I uploaded a 2GB file into Google Drive and then upload it via a URL into ModDB and I am still having trouble getting it to work. I remember Google Drive used to have direct links working but it seems like they changed something so direct links wouldn't work to other sites.

C'mon guys, I thought technology has changed so I suppose this site has got to get some things right by now.

Unfortunately we attempt to convert the google drive links into a download link we can grab. But google drive keeps changing how their system authenticates and validates downloads and every time they do that they lock us out.
