Environment artist looking for work Thread

Okay, I'm going to do some criticizing here but just bear with me here.

1. Are you really an Environmental Artist? Because the skills of "lighting, kismet,smart object placement" are something that a level designer does.
2. You need to improve your portfolio, if there is work that came out bad just remove it. Your fist image is awesome, and it sets your skills bar really high, but as you move down some things show
A. Your second image has some color issue consult some color theory and make buildings mainly out of static meshes not BSP. Also don't let your grass repeat like that it looks really unnatural.
B. Your braces are jutting out of rocks, which can be fine but if you are going to do that, make sure that the ends are poking out!
C. I have no idea what happened in the space image, if it was just a glitch with the game at the time, re-take the screenshot otherwise scrap it, it doesn't make a positive influence on your work.
3. If you are indeed an environmental artist find a level designer and have them design some levels with assets that you create, also you don't have many assets for an environmental artist. Work on building up a bank of models that you have created.
 
You have potential, don't let bad design/theroy ruin it!
