Hi there!

I'm a designer currently starting my final year university project, and I am aiming to create a vertical slice of a game project that I have been planning for the last couple of months.

Brief Synopsis

“Asylum” will be a first person adventure game, with strong emphasis on stealth, exploration and platforming. The world of “Asylum” is a future ravaged Earth, in which the planet has exhausted all of its resources, resulting in worldwide conflicts, famines and natural disasters etc However, prior to the downfall of society a secret contingency plan was put in effect to resettle a small percentage of world’s population to state of the art facilities, known as ARCS. These facilities contained VR technology that would allow the users to enter into a virtual world (whilst their real bodies would remain in suspended animation) letting them live out a new life in complete safety. The rest of world wasn’t so lucky.

In the world there are going to be these sentinel type things, that act as law enforcement. They will be based on the AIGA toilet sign, ( body with a floating head).

I would love for these enemies to come to life, but i'm going to be busy juggling other assignments, and trying to get my game functional and looking good, leaving little time for me to model and rig this character.

If anyone is interested, please send me an email at jackchapman117@gmail.com or hit me up on twitter @JackChapman117

Looks cool but I can't tell if you're aiming for a cyborg type look or not. You never know until a model is actually given texture. Hell, if particle effects where coming of that model it could turn into something amazing real fast. Of course you'll need an engine that can handle that kind of overhead. :)

I'm hopefully gonna get in touch with someone who could help animate the character, as it would add so much to my project. Yeah particle effects coming from the eye would be amazing.
