Easter is because of Jesus being resurrected from the dead. (Not to be religious.)

Maybe they went from lambs to rabbits... I dunno.... it is kind of awkward... maybe I should look into that.

No, its easter on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, hence Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday.

We were forced to learn religion in school unless our parents complained to take us out otherwise

quite funny really, i hear in america it's illegal to put your child into a religios education class, yet here they do it

Good Friday - Jesus Christ is put on the cross, and crucified.
Easter Saturday -> Monday - The days Jesus Christ spent, deceased in his tomb. On the Monday, the Virgin Mary, and Mary Magdelene (If my memory serves me correctly) head to the tomb and find it empty. The disciples find him, and he ascends to heaven. If you really want clarification, I'll grab my Bible.

Well i go to a catholic school and wot not so i should know

so last week when they said what should we thank jesus for i came up with

But didn't Jesus have the last supper then go ascend to heaven?

Anyway i think its called good friday since Jesus died for the people, thus doing something good for everybody (and im not implying that it made people happy to see someone dying)
