Dragon 3D model for Half Life 2 (Request: help) Thread

Yo! Everyone,

I was curious if anyone in here would want to work on this 3D dragon model - it's almost done just needs some tweaking for half life 2 and YES! Textures would be nice

I can't wait to get this guy into Half Life 2 engine -
especially giving him expression unfortunatly I am just a 2D Artist.

Not Very good with 3D - if you can help me out.

how many polys is that?

connect the verticies on the inner parts of the wings
then extrude and bevel for every other 4
give him hands

he's 16450 poly's psychofarmer - needs to be Tweaked isn't that bad though.

ummm bad-company - I know he needs claws etc.
I don't know how to do that stuff - reason why I posted.

A Friend of mine did it ^_^ - he's too busy in college now thought.

Here's another one which just needs to be Textured for my Mod

She's is 5 to 6 thousand poly's again needs to be tweaked and textured.

If you guys can help me out i'd appreciate it and that would be 2 models which would be finished and ready for animation.

Oh btw, Polycount forums will help seriously, we dont have much hot modelers here. BC doesn't know what he's talking about.

Shouldn't foxes have 6 breasts?

I would texture if I didn't have half a spider daedra, a beholder and a sslisk to be texturing...

Fox just looks like an ugly mess.

Dragon looks sweet

the body on the fox is well done, but you might want to work on the face.

The face looks like a wolf. on a fox, the head has a larger ratio to the body, it should be fluffier, longer (but not too long) mussel, and the ears could use a tweak.

To Let you know CheapAlert - There also GarGoyle's Type Characters in the Game. (scarry and funny)
also gryphons which have never been put playable in any game as of lately, that i've seen especially not in a FPS - third person game.

Here's one of the Nograd 3D models - Again isn't finished needs to be Tweaked and Textured.

Poly's depending what mode he is in not alot.

Here's a half made Scravit - Never Really finished him only did the head and upper body - needs to be Redone.

The Rest I'd like to keep a surprise or get people to start modeling better versions but this just gives you a overall idea on the mod I am trying to create.

I should post more concepts shortly ^_^

I agree about the stereotyping. Most the Races in my game are still till this day being stereotyped in hallywood, movies etc.

Waiting for hallywood to release a imaginative movie but I doubt that will happen for some time.

so with that,
I think it would be best, a story be told through a movie like video game engine like source. so its why I am doing Dracten

Yeah, but If I see a "friendly" gargoyle in Hollywood, he'll be more ET/stitch like instread, makes me cringe about being friendly touchy feely. If evil, they'll just be an easy bunch to take care of, much like azz0r vs. Japanese schoolgirls.
