Well? Deos he Die? No. Watch through the credits after beating the game on Expert or Legendary. He's on the ship, he hops into a cryogenic tube, tells Cortana to wake him when someone responds to the emergency signal beacon they sent out, and that's it. Another terrible Halo ending. You're not exactly missing out on a deep storyline here Jiffy. If you saw any of the pre-release ads, they made it clear that he "dies" -- Good game design is about copying what works and maybe taking a few chances on your own. |

Kind of your own fault. Read the thread title, and your own logic should dictate whether or not the contents would ruin a key part of the story for you. As BlckWyerve said, though -- you're not really missing anything. This should be nothing too surprising. You don't have to read the thread to have it spoiled. I mean, it's right there on the main page. Whether or not he actually dies, someone wouldn't know at a glance. But still.... -- ![]() |

This ending was actually very good because Bungie can now branch out to any series of game they want. Think about it... where can they go? Pretty much anywhere. I know it could of been better but it was to secure the idea of another game. So Halo 4 will live! The Halo episodic series might have something to do with the 'future' of the series. No sooner has Halo 3 been released, have four more Halo games been announced, and we already knew about Halo Wars... |
