It all started with an idea:

  • How would people handle a game where hands have to be desynchronized? where the brain constantly have to think two things at the same time?

The idea became a concept and the concept grew up... and it grew up well.
From this small seed was born Dual Madness, and it's frankly awesome, but now it needs your help.

CONCEPT
Dual madness is a fully new conceptual game that - be certain of this - will make you crazy, so much it's addictive but insanely hard to master.
The concept is simple: two squares have to find their way up to the end through levels mined with obstacles and with increasing difficulty.
Each square have different properties regarding obstacles and must find their own path, forcing the player to desynchronize its hands and thoughts.
Is that it? well, no, though that would be hard enough...
The squares have blue, and yellow tints, and will have to help each other by opening respectively blue and yellow paths.
So think desynchronized but also think coop...
...And finally think fusion:
Last but not least in the list of features is that both squares can fusion in one unique green one when put together, forcing the player to resynchronize its thinking to open pathways and reach the end.

STORY
As mentioned before, at first it was just an idea.
The idea was stuck in my head and a very simple prototype was born the next weekend in order to test it.
(for the story, it was in Matlab ... programming pals out there will surely find this detail laughable)
And well, what to say apart that the prototype was a hit among co-workers and friends.
So I began working on an iPhone/android version as side project during my spare time.
The side project quickly became a playable prototype andi hope to release it very soon.
