Desura more like Battle.net? Thread

An idea that came to mind long after reading INtense!'s article about lowering the piracy rate among the indies:
Desura hosting/providing (or alternatively, just listing not hosting) servers for indie games (at least the ones that have the multiplayer mode), requiring one to sign in with his ModDB/IndieDB/Desura account to play.

Do note that we don't talk about MMOs at all since they require a way too powerful resources, only regular indies with some multiplayer support.

The major problem would be the integration itself - while Battle.net and Blizzard games are developed by the same developers/company and such network/fan system suits them greatly, games on Desura are developed independently and are also released through other sellers.
