Actually, Transformers Q2 wasn't foxed I don't think. Not fully - it died of stagnation, not foxing. |

They renamed all the guns in the retail releases. Yes. It was kind of funny to try to say what a gun is, only to see people asking, "What the hell are you talking about?" It's kind of difficult to know what it is when you have to translate all your guns for the people that didn't buy the retail version. I say you can stay with the general idea, but just change the names, and there's nothing they can take you to court for. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Some guy got trapped for a week in someones garage while trying to steal something from it - sued the owners, and won. Thank god you can't sue people in New Zealand |

All of these cases you are talking about later get overturned by judge with some sense if they ever exsisted at all. But anyway. |

Lucaarts foxed a mapper for star wars stuff in it. It was an amazing UT map. I met the pres of MGM TV about 1.5 years ago, and told him all about us, and he was more then happy about the HL2 SGC mod. In fact gave me his number and the interactive group for MGM also. And LA use to be real back about stopping people, but now I think they see is as free PR. hell they even run www.LucasFiles.com -- Thanks |

What engine were they using? I believe they were using the Unreal Tournament 2003 engine starting off, and were about to move to UT2k4 with a new web site before they were shut down. Anyone hear about that Earthbound mod? It's been a long time since I've seen an update about it. I assume it's been shut down as well? -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |
