Looking for a few concept artists who can draw and put together the different looks of all 55+ different classes. As with any mmo, there are the standard classes but outside those 9 is where things get very interesting. If your not a character artist, good news! I will also be needing concept art for buildings, airships, weapons, armors, creatures and more. If your an artist and interested but there isnt your specialty here, shoot me a message and tell me what you can do. After I get a noticeable amount of concept art, I will go ahead and create a game page and begin to recruit modelers to bring your sketches to life.

MMO, 55+ different classes? Yet you do not have:
-a game pitch
-no solid description of the game mechanics and the story
-no description of current team members
-no description of what you bring to the team

no info at all...
I think you need to do better than this if you are serious. MMO's are imo the hardest genre to develop, for several reasons I've mentioned before in the countless amount of MMO-threads I've posted in. So if you want to make an MMO you need a VERY solid plan and execution: and most of all, competent team members.

Well to be honest, I didnt think artists needed to know how everything in a game worked inorder to draw but I suppose I'll post everything here instead of putting together a game page like my initial plan was to do.

Game Name: Radiant Skies (name is most definately a WIP)
After playing a few games involving air pirates/space pirates, I had an idea to make it an MMO.

Class List: When players start the game for the first time, they are apart of the Newbie class. Upon completing the tutorial quests and leveling to Lv. 10 they are able to choose a primary class and leave the Beginning Area.
Primary Classes:
Swordsman - Swordsmen and women are warriors of the blade, training tirelessly to better both their body and mind.
Trainer - Trainers are students of thus, training and communicating with the beasts and animals of nature, forming powerful bonds of friendship and camaraderie.
Priest - Students of the gods, Priests are able to form pacts with holy beings, summoning them to their aid in battle.
Cutpurse - Looked down on by society, the life of a Cutpurse is not easy. However, they have learned to use their speed and wit to take what they need to survive.
Conjurer - Binding themselves to beings of the dark realm, Conjurers learn from their dark partners, as well as calling them for assistance in battle.
Magician - Simple students of magick, Magicians learn to use the forces of nature to their advantage, overwhelming foes with a barrage of elements.
Gunner - Mostly loners, Gunners are marksmen who know their way around a firearm. They practice and study until they can pinpoint an enemy's weakness from meters away.
Cleric - Followers of the light and users of holy magicks, Clerics use their skills to heal the weak and smite the wicked......but they are still learning.
Apprentice - Tinkerers and fixer-up-ers, Apprentices are well versed in many skills and weapons, yet are always open to learn more.

Once Lv.40 is achieved, players grow into their secondary class. You pick one of the 9 primary classes which transforms you into your powerful secondary class. Picking the same primary class (for example Primary - Trainer + Secondary - Trainer = Hunter Class) gains access to a pure version of that class, which comes with upgraded stats, weapons, skills and even access to special areas. This leads to a total of 55 possible class combinations that (if all goes according to plan) will play diverse roles in the game.

There are also 18 rare classes called Transcendent Classes but those will come later

Features
Intuitive Guild System - Become either a pirate or a merchant! Merchants are for those that would prefer to make money over doing quests and adventuring. Or become an air pirate! Enjoy the freedom of adventuring and finding rare treasures or hunting bounties. Be aware thought, there are multiple types of merchants and air pirates with both good and bad intentions.
Become An Airship Captain - Buy an airship and customize it to your liking. Change everything from the engines, the sails, weapon systems, color......EVERYTHING!
Recruit a crew - Captains with a ship are able to recruit other players to man the ships weapons. Certain player classes grant bonuses according to their position on the ship. Players manning the guns will have to actively aim the cannon at the opposing ship/armada which will make for exciting air wars.
Lots of rare events - Events ranging from the appearance of boss creatures around the world to events that will destroy entire cities if not stopped. I want to create a living breathing world where player/faction wars and decisions will actively affect the world.
Possible Town Infestations - Too many monsters outside the town gates? Guard npcs have been killed? The monsters will breach the town and begin killing off shop npcs! They wont respawn until the town has been cleared for a certain amount of time

Ship Technology
There are 3 types of Air Ship in total:
Steam (based around Explosive weapons)
Solar (based around Laser weapons)
Magnetic Stones (based around Magnetic weapons)

While all ships can use all weapons, ships using weapons of the same type will receive a bonus

Solar > Steam > Magnetic > Solar

I am currently looking for team members, but more importantly concept artists so I can actively recruit for other members. I am a terrain designer who would like to move into the actual zone design but I need building modelers inorder to make that transition.
