Comment Notifications Thread

I would like to be notified when people respond to my comments or comment on my profile. It will make the nested comment thing a lot more useful in my opinion.

This is something that was suggested a long time ago (I supported it then, and I support it now). It would be nice as a personal feature for the member or the team, for sure.

I would very much like this feature as well.

Ive got a feeling this will be very heavy on the servers.

This is something I'd like to do, will be a bit of a server slap but thats alright, v4 enables this sort of thing. It will be a while however before non-essential features like this are rolled out since forums, moty, pm, videos all sit above this on the priority list.

Notifications of comments on replies and such is always nice, so long as it's optional.

Speaking of comments, an edit feature for your own comments sure would be handy

Nah, then you would lose something precious called accountability. I think you should only be allowed to do that on your own profile/forum.

I meant the mod's forum, not the site's forum -- the one that you actually own.

You doesn't lose accountability if it says that you edited it like it does on the forums.

I argee, it would be nice to get optional notifications for comments on all the pages.

and I am posting and slashing and woof'n away I would love to have the site tell me someone dropped a comment in one of the many things I am doing on the site!
