Cat Lady Mirillis Lag? Thread

Okay, so, I use Mirillis Action to record gameplay, and I noticed that The Cat Lady runs fine when I'm not recording, but when I am recording it slows WAY down to where it feels as though you're walking like like a zombie, and there's longs gaps in the dialogue when they pause. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm really desperate for a solution right now. I've tried everything but it's still lagging like crazy.

Does it happen for other games as well? If it doesn't, then you may have to reconfigure Mirillis Action (Video Recording Settings) and see how other settings work out. Just guessing, but it also may be a problem with the game or hardware itself (rendering, engine, DirectX/OpenGL, graphics card etc) and hard to resolve quickly.

So far this has only happened with this game. I'm still tweaking stuff and trying to work it out so I'll have to bear in mind that it may be the hardware.

It might be weird to ask, but do you have a torrent version or did you actually buy it? I ask because I got a torrent version to test the game before buying it (I ended up buying it, so I doubt it is too shameful to admit that I got the torrent in order to see whether I'd like the game or not), and the torrent version kept on lagging out, while the real version didn't have such issues for me at all.

I got it from desura actually, when it was 40% off. (And don't worry, we've all torrented something at some point) But in this case I actually waited for the game to go on sale.
