Hi forum, I have a serious question... How would I mod Day of Defeat: Source? such as adding skins, script new things, add models, maps, sounds, guns, and basically make a mod using the DoD:S engine so to speak. Thanks! Clos3dCask3tt |

Well, assuming DoD:S has it's own SDK, you can use that just as you would normally do with HL2's default version of the source engine. If you don't have an SDK specifically for DoD:S (or if it just hasn't been released in this case), you'd have to replace skins, models and textures. Just as you would do if you were to replace, say the skin of a Metrocop from HL2. If you still need help with this, maybe it'd be better if you contact me directly. Send me a message, or add me on Staem if you wish. A link to my Steam-profile is on my profile here. -- "When there's no escape from reality, why not create your own?" |

Alright thanks, Iv'e decided to just base it off of the hl2 2007 source engine like most mods. -- LOCK'N LOAD! |
