Please help! I'm trying to export a pumpkin (modeled in 3DS) that was a free download on turbosquid. It imports fine. When I export it and then import it into Unreal Editor 3, it does not accept the three materials created from the three textures that were included with it. I just need to get each material to show up for each part of the mesh. In blender it is made up of 2 spheres and 1 cylinder, each with it's own texture. But even though UE3 gives it a place for each texture, it only displays the top one listed in the preview. I think this is because it has only one UV Channel once it's imported into UE3. I don't know how to get blender to export with all 3 UV channels working properly. Any Ideas! screenshot a this post:Pinoyblender.com |

not sure how UT uses ase's but in doom 3 you have to replace the texture name in the ase file with the material location/name. Could very well be the same thing, -- Go play some Quake 2: q2server.fuzzylogicinc.com |
