Biohazard: Survivors needs a Coder Thread

Hello, my name (Online, at least) is Redfox McBeth, and I lead the Biohazard: Survivors mod, a survival horror mod for Half Life one and two.

Biohazard (Resident Evil in the US and UK) Survivors is the evolution of the Biohazard 1.5 mod, basically becoming Biohazard 1.5 Online. The game is divided up by scenarios, and depending on which scenario you play, you can be either an average citizen fighting to survive, or an elite soldier trained to kill and destroy.

I beleive, that if people want to play Resident Evil on the PC, RE2, and three are easily accessable.

Now, Outbreak is another matter. I belive that a coop RE mod will go farther than a single player mod, and well, replay value.

Anyway, I hope to have all the common RE fare in this mod, from the cameras to the crazy blue herbs.

One thing I need at the moment, over all, is a coder. Mappers and modelers would be a grand help, but I really need a coder, for one thing.

Inventory. Inventory. And, Inventory.

Once I get a working inventory done, we can release a demo. Its as simple as that.

Come on guys, originality!

Wait a second, on further inspection I see that this mod already exists?What you're saying here is about the console versions of the RE series, but what are you trying to get through?That you're taking one of the console games and trying to mod it into something?There seems to be some sort of miscommunication here, so could you explain what mod you're trying to do?

Meh, you could say "That Resident Evil mod thats been around for two years" but meh.

I'm saying that, if people wanted to, they could just load up RE2 on their PC and play a single player game of Resident Evil. Now, Outbreak is not avlalible on PC, and like I was told (Two years ago...)

Hey man, if people want to play [single player] Resident Evil, they can [on the PC.] Now, Online, thats another story. Make something people will play. Bring RE Online to the PC, as we'll never see it.

It's taken me two years to realise it, but it seems that a RE Coop mod would be "more suscessful" than a single player one. So blammo.

And yes, this mod does exist. Has existed for a while.

Cyanide, please don't be so quick as to dismiss a mod just because it has to do with Resident Evil. There's still plenty of things that can be done with the formula, just like with any other zombie-related project. It's just like saying every mod with team strategy is a CS-clone. It's just ignorance, with all due respect.
