Hello, I'm new here and as the title says which mod should I get for BF2? Should I get both or should I just get one? In the event that I choose both, will one mod interfere with another? I need help.

Hmmm...... I don't really know, but sadly no one ever uses the forums, sadly.

But as a wild guess All in One sounds pretty good.

will one mod interfere with another?

Isn't for BF2 case each mod has to be activated separately? Unless if you throw in the AIO files to the AIX mod folder (or vice versa) or modify vanilla game files it won't conflicts AFAIK.

That's good to know. But what if I put some guns in from AIX to my vanilla game? Will the guns still work or are the guns strictly for that mod only?

But what if I put some guns in from AIX to my vanilla game

Not sure about that, but that'll require a lot of file editing and won't be a simple drag & drop. High risk of permanently breaking the game too, in other words; a single typo will make the game unplayable.

Wow, Good thing I haven't done that. Thanks for the warning. But what if I put some weapons from a weapons pack to AIX? Will that require some kind of editing? Also, thanks for answering my questions. Really appreciate that.

The same, you have to edit the AIX mod files. And any mistake willl break the AIX install.

BTW all those files you can edit are usually found in the .zip (?) files inside the mod folder, you have to extract them first to edit and put it back to the .zip to get it running, but I haven't personally tried it since I never tried modding BF2.
