Best top down racing games Thread

But what are the best racing games from the past in your opinion and why? Here's my list of top 3 retro themed top down racers.

- Slicks 'n' Slide. Very old PC game, but gameplay was just great. However the best thing was multiplayer with one keyboard. It's so fun to put 4 players around one keyboard and play . Also lots of wacky vehicles makes it great. Lastly a big plus from level editor!!!

- Turbo Sliders. Basically the same as Slicks, but in more modern form. As an addition there is also primitive online play available, which was very cool at one point.

- Gene Rally. Who could have resisted 3D racing game with level editor and gameplay. Although this has not aged so well, it is still something that blow my mind over 10 years ago.

Gene Rally, Micro Machines V3 (actually isometric but so what), Drive to Survive/Mashed, the original Death Rally (not the shitty remake) and some Amiga games I can't remember its name (Super Skidmarks?)
