I have a couple of questions...

Do people still play some Battlefield 1942 mods?

What is currently most popular mod?

Does anyone play these mods: WWII RealityWasteland 2042Real Battle modDesert Combat and DC Global Front ?

How many there are modders of battlefield 1942 still active?

There are a ton of people playing Desert Combat, and Desert Combat Final. Especially since battlefield 1942 went free we have seen a ton of new players coming in and installing those mods. Another great one is Forgotten Hope, but it is a bit slower getting populated servers for the Origin client.

Good modders I would say there are anywhere from 20-30 active now. The game has really been revived! I have started a community dedicated to battlefield 1942 and it's mods if anybody here is interested. We have a dedicated file server we store mods and other BF 1942 related files on to make grabbing them easy for members. We also have a great server that can hold up to 128 players and works for both CD and origin players. Great guides and other content are added regularly.
