Awesome Audio Kickstarter Campaign Thread

Hi All

I suppose this isn't directly game related but definitely it'' be some good stuff to all the game audio guys.

I have found completely accidentally a Kickstarter Campaing from guys that are aiming to create top notch quality Firearm Sound Library and give it absoultely free to all who back them. The best in it is that the pledge and the only pledge is $1 or whatever amount you choose above that. I obviously signed up for this as I know that a decent weapon sound library starts $100+ and here u'll get one for $1 once the project is successful.

I am not advertising it but I would really wish to get that library (as well as 800 other backers so far) and I bothered to share it. THey almost reached the goal but there's only 20 hours left. To all audio guys reading it ... come on guys! support that campaign and get an awesome sound library (from what i've seen in the updates it's going to be really good product). I suppose they'll put it on for a good price but all backers can get it for $1+ .

Backed, though seems they might be freely releasing anyway, still be really useful if they get a huge range of unique weapons, looking forward to it, maybe use it someday.
Maybe they should still somewhat sell it, have very low (-$20) licenses for commercial products and licensing for TV, develop more sound effect librarys then such as vehicles.

I'm actually sound designer so having high quality firearm sound library that won't ruin ones budget is always good, but anyway as their campaign already succeeded, they may go for another one soon. And as many companies goes monopolistic these days selling small, often not much useful (where 80+ percent is crap) libraries and copying each other, this one could be pretty nice, yet almost free.
