"Atv Challenge"
-Atv Challenge is an Atv mod for Half-Life2. The mod will be Third person, including different camera modes. Atv Challenge will feature a variety of Atvs to choose from Yamahas to Kawasakis, with there own unique sounds, engine, traction, suspension, control, etc. The mod will be Multiplayer.
-In Atv Challenge, you will be able to do a variety of tricks, even combos, which
give you more points. Each trick scores a different amount of points. Everytime you repeat a trick the value goes down by 25-75 points. You are also able to hold tricks, the longer your hold the trick the more points you get.
-The Atvs will be customizable with different colors and sticker kits avalible to them. You will be able to customize your riders gear, pants, shirt, gogles, helment, gloves, and boots with different brands including Fox, Thor, Shift, Axo, AlpineStars, Oneal, etc. Your name and number will appear on your jersey and bike. You will also be able to tweak your engine, traction, and suspension for different environments.
-While riding an Atv you must balance your yourself by pitching it forward or backward when you land or you will crash. Depending on how you land affects your speed when you hit the ground. If you land good, your speed will stay the same. You can also do wheelies by using the pitch backward button, but be careful, pitching the Atv back to far will make you fall back.
-Shifting gears plays an important part in this mod. For one thing, it determines how fast you go and if your able to make it up a hill or not. You will be able to shift
up and down depending on how many gears your Atv has. A reverse option will be featured to those specific Atvs who have it, and those who dont will backpedal on there front tires. For those of you who are to lazy to shift, we will include a
auto-shift feature.
+Game Modes
-Supercross (Amateur/Pro)
Supercross mode is your basic game mode. You line up at the start, and race the
number of laps that is designated (selected by the server). You will still be able to
earn trick points, but it doesnt affect the outcome of the race. Races will take
place on staduim tracks. The person to come in first place wins.
*Amateur
The Amateur edition of Supercross consist of easier tracks, this is the basic mode of Supercross.
*Pro
The Pro edition of Supercross consist of harder and more challenging tracks.
-Endurance (Amateur/Pro)
Endurance mode are races that place on the large environments (such as freestyle), but you must pass through checkpoints. You will race a designated number of laps set by the server, and whoever come in first place wins.
*Amateur
The Amateur edition of Endurance consist of easier terrain, this is the basic mode of Endurance.
*Pro
The Pro edition of Endurance consist of harder and more challenging terrain.
-Freestyle
In freestlye, you ride around a large environment and you must do tricks and
land them to earn points. The person who has the most Points at the end of the round is the winner (round ends when time is up, time is selected by the server). Different environments will include Snow, Valleys, Sand Dunes, Mud Terrain, etc.
*Grab the Flag
Grab the Flag is an accessory to Freestyle. The Flag spawns randomly in the map, and you can see it on your radar or "Compas". You must race to get it, once you have it in your possesion, you gain 250 points each second. The object of the mod is to hold on to the flag the longest and whoever has the most points at the end of the round wins. If you have the flag in your possesion and you crash, the flag drops. If the flag is in your possesion and a person hits you, the flag is now in there possesion. There is also a negative to having the flag, you move a little big slower to give the other people a chance to catch you.
