Would someone here be willing to be my artistic mentor/tutor for my modeling works? Thanks if someone does. I can already program somewhat, but would like to be able to do art as well.

What is it that you need help with to be specific?

For starters I just want to learn modeling weapons. :v If that's not too unreasonable. Don't get me wrong, the modeler I have is great but CAN (mostly isn't though) be unpredictable, and I figure I might need to use this skill later on as well.

Well teaching you - individually - I don't think anyone has the time for. But I can point you in the right directions ofc, telling you what you should study next and so on...
What modelling software are you using?

It's a free program you more then likely have never heard of, Wings3D. Can't afford anything right now. But can you tell me how this looks?

I recommend that you get Maya, Max, Lightwave or AT LEAST Blender (the latter is free).
Autodesk offers a free software (such as Maya) to all students: Students.autodesk.com - highly recommended.
Regarding your picture: You should make the image plane larger, centered and a bit transparent. Do you have front and top images of it as well? If not then The-blueprints.com  is a good site for getting references.
