Approved news coming up in slidedb not indiedb Thread

When a news item is approved for Indiedb.com it comes up on slidedb but not indiedb not sure why. This is problematic as any filtering on slidedb by platform makes it disappear as its not on any of slidedbs platforms.

Do I have some settings wrong?

No, your news was specifically approved only for Slide DB. Now it should show up on both IDB and SDB.

Per news. To reply to your earlier remark, Slide DB covers to some small extent games designated for web/browsers, at least news/feature-wise but not really content/platform-wise as SDB is mostly aimed at tablet/smartphone apps. Same with IDB which is mainly focused on desktop games.

It is a situation similar to that of console games and console content here on MDB/IDB. Both web and console content is less covered on any of the sister sites even content such as indie console games and indie web/browser games running particularly well on tablets/mobiles.

And now only high quality indie news is featured on Mod DB. So summing up, it's easiest to have your article featured on Slide DB as it receives little content and little attention from the community, then Indie DB, and finally Mod DB (unless your news is somehow mod related). So articles can be featured on three, two sister sites or just one site and that is decided per news not per game.
